Removing the Old Door Seal

Undo Earth Wire Screw at of Top Heater Duct.
This is another screw that holds the Heater Duct.

MAKE SURE YOU REMEMBER TO RECONNECT THIS EARTH WIRE TO THE HEATER DUCT WHEN REASSEMBLING!!!


Remove Small Host Clip	Remove Small Host from Door Seal. Pull out.

TIP Remove Small Host Clip. I used a flat-bladed screwdriver to unclip this.


Unclip Heater Duct Spring. Twist to unclip.	Remove Heater Duct Spring

I used a mole wrench to Unclip Heater Duct Spring. Twist to unclip. Good pliers will probably do the same job.

A Mole wrench is a useful tool it has a powerful grip and is able to be latch-on to objects holding and gripping them hands free. This is a good tool for diy, do it yourself.


Remove the Old Door Seal for The heater Duct Inlet	Remove the Old Door Seal. Complete with Big Spring.

NOTE; KEEP the Big Spring. You will need this when fitting the New Door Seal.

TIP you should, if possible, empty the washer dryer of clothes and water first i.e. use the spin cycle.

DANGER UNPLUG. Also turn off water supply.

MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE APART FROM YOURSELF IS ABLE TO PLUG THE ZANNSSI 1250 WASHER DRYER BACK IN.

DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE. TURN OFF MAINS ELECTRIC SUPPLY AND UNPLUG FROM THE MAIN SUPPLY.

NOTE: ALLOW THE WASHING MACHINE TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING. The machine can become very HOT during use, especially if the tumble dryer is used.

TIP Take your time if any part feel difficult to fit find out why. Do NOT force parts this may cause damage.

These Tips may not be suitable for any other Models of Washing Machines or Washer Dryers.

Before you start make sure you are competent enough to complete these tips.

You will be handling HEAVY MACHINEY WHICH USES HIGH VOLTAGE, HIGH PRESSURE WATER, DANGEROUS, (POTENTIALLY HOT AND HIGH SPEED), MECHANICAL ITEMS and TOOLS.

ELECTRIC AND WATER DO NOT MIX and this with the HEAVY and MECHANICAL DEVICES MAKE THIS VERY, VERY DANGEROUS.

THESE ACTIONS REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO STRONG PEOPLE WHO ARE ABLE TO ACT IN A RESPONSABLE WAY.
HAVE A FIRST AID KIT READY.
